Purpose<\/b><\/h3>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The General Incorporated Association <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Never Stop Playing Sports<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (hereinafter referred to as \u201cthe Association\u201d) is committed to building an environment in which everyone can safely and confidently engage with sport. We also aim to contribute to solving social issues through sport.<\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This Safeguarding Policy (hereinafter referred to as \u201cthis Policy\u201d) serves as a guiding framework that upholds the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.<\/span><br><br>\n<h3><b>2. What is Safeguarding?<\/b><\/h3>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Safeguarding refers to the responsibility of the Association\u2019s officers, staff, and affiliated individuals to ensure that children are not exposed to risks of abuse, exploitation, or harm through our activities.<\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Should any concern arise regarding a child\u2019s safety during our operations, we will report it to the appropriate authorities and address the issue as an organizational responsibility.<\/span><br><br>\n<h3><b>3. Fundamental Principles<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Ensuring Safety:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> We strive to create an environment where all individuals can safely participate in physical and mental activities.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Prohibition of Discrimination:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> We do not tolerate discrimination based on age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, or any other characteristic.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Prevention of Harassment:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> We do not condone physical, psychological, sexual, or online harassment.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Education and Awareness:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> We provide training and awareness programs on safeguarding to all individuals involved in the Association\u2019s activities.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Reporting and Response:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> We establish a reporting and consultation system to ensure timely and appropriate responses to issues.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Protection of Whistleblowers:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> We protect the privacy of whistleblowers and victims and take all necessary steps to prevent any disadvantage resulting from reporting.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>4. Scope of Application<\/b><\/h3>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This Policy applies to the following individuals when engaging in activities under the Association:<\/span>\n<ul>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Board Members<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Employees<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Volunteer Members<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supporters and partners who collaborate with the Association<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other individuals or organizations deemed necessary by the Association<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These individuals are collectively referred to as \u201cParticipants\u201d in this Policy.<\/span><br><br>\n<h3><b>5. Safeguarding Framework<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Designation of Responsible Officers:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A safeguarding officer will be appointed to oversee the implementation and enforcement of this Policy.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Training:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Participants will receive training to ensure understanding of this Policy and proper behavior.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Safety Checks:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Regular safety inspections of activity sites will be conducted to minimize risks.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Reporting and Consultation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A secure point of contact will be provided for victims to consult safely. Anonymous reports will be accepted. Privacy and protection for whistleblowers and victims will be ensured.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Swift Response:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Reports will be handled fairly and promptly. External organizations will be consulted as needed.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Enhanced Protection for Minors:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> For activities involving minors, at least two adult supervisors will always be present.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>6. Prohibited Acts of Harassment and Abuse<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Physical violence (e.g., hitting, kicking)<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Psychological abuse (e.g., verbal threats, excessive pressure)<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sexual harassment (e.g., inappropriate comments, physical contact, sharing explicit images)<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Discriminatory behavior or exclusion<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Online defamation or privacy violations<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Economic exploitation (e.g., coercing financial burdens)<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Abuse of authority (e.g., misuse of power to create disadvantage)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>7. Reporting and Response Process<\/b><\/h3>\n<ol>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Receiving Reports:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Reports from victims or third parties will be accepted via the designated contact point.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Initial Response:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The content of the report will be reviewed, and a response policy will be determined promptly.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Investigation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> If necessary, we will conduct interviews with Participants and stakeholders and may involve external experts.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Decision and Action:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Based on the findings, appropriate actions will be taken, and recurrence prevention measures will be implemented.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Follow-Up:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> We will provide ongoing care for victims and continue to implement preventive measures.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><b>8. Policy Review<\/b><\/h3>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This Policy will be reviewed regularly and revised as necessary. We aim to make it more effective by incorporating the opinions of Participants and stakeholders.<\/span><br><br>\n<h3><b>9.
